Geauga Lake

Geauga Lake was once the largest amusement park in the world and closed for good in 2007. Two of the wooden behemoths of the park are immortalized in our collection including Big Dipper and our pair of fully restored Raging Wolf Bobs cars! Other items include various lighting and signage from around the park!

Chippewa Lake Park

Chippewa Lake operated  Ohio's first documented roller coaster which opened in 1885. The coaster was most likely a Switchback Railway (or similar in build), but unfortunately no photos of the ride exist. The park itself operated for exactly 100 years, 1878-1978. The park operated 4 roller coasters over those 100 years and we are proud to display 3 of these coasters! Pictured below is or car from the Coaster (AKA Big Dipper) that opened in 1925!

Euclid Beach

Euclid Beach operated on the shores of Lake Erie as the first major coaster park in Northern Ohio. The park featuring 7 different coasters over its history, and 4 major coasters at one time which included Derby Racer, Thriller, Aero Dips and the legendary Flying Turns. The park closed in 1969 and was razed to the ground. There are still remnants of the park that you can visit today including the iconic arch!
